HOW TO MEASURE FOR CORRECT SHIRT SIZE
Since its obvious that sizes can be vastly different depending on brand (or even styles within the same brand) then how can you know which size to buy if you can't try it on first?
The easiest way is to find a tshirt in your home that fits the way you like. Lay it flat on the table and measure across (not all the way around) the chest about an inch below the sleeve. Then measure from the highest point of the collar down to the hem. Take these two measurements and compare them to the chart below for the size category you are looking for.

We are currently replacing our infant and toddler white shirts with other brands as the Softy line has been discontinued. We still have Softy in all sizes except 18 months. I do have 18 months in another brand but it runs smaller (Softy line runs big). I will update this as soon as I have another line established.
